Fall Chalkboard Art

I feel so lucky to live in a country that gets to experience the beauty of all four seasons. Spring, summer, fall and winter bring such unique changes throughout the year and help mark the passage of time.

Fall Chalkboard Art

Of all the seasons, autumn has always been my favourite. It brings with it a feeling of new beginnings and fresh starts. The cool crisp days are a welcome break from the heat of the summer. And I can never get over the sheer beauty of the changing foliage. One of my favourite fall rituals is taking a leisurely drive through the country on a crisp and sunny day to take in the beauty of the changing leaves. The colours are always so brilliant, I wish they could stay that way forever.

Nick took this photo last year on one of our drives. Aren’t the colours just stunning?

Fall Chalkboard Art

My love for all of the beautiful harvest colours during the fall season inspired my fall chalkboard art this year. I chose the quote “Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree.” by Emily Bronte because it perfectly sums up how I feel during this time of the year.

Autumn is pure bliss to me.

I love seeing this message on our gorgeous rustic chalkboard as soon as you walk in our front door. It’s such a lovely reminder of this beautiful season. Nick built this chalkboard for our home last year, it adds a perfect touch of farmhouse character to our front hall. You can find the tutorial here.

And if you’re wondering how I got the lettering just right, I shared my sneaky trick for getting the perfect chalkboard lettering every time here.

I just love this! And I love Fall. This will be my first Fall in Colorado so, I am curious to see what everything will look like.
I have had a chalkboard sitting in my kitchen for 2 months trying to figure out what to do with it. I hope you don't mind that I copied your idea! Thank you for sharing!
