Nature Scavenger Hunt Printable

Entertain little ones while exploring the outdoors with this nature scavenger hunt printable.

As the weather warms, we find ourselves outside more and more, whether simply playing in our yard, taking a walk through our neighbourhood or hiking a local trail. We look forward to our time outdoors, and we’re always trying to think of creative ways to keep the kids busy while we are outside.

Lately, Zoe’s favourite activity is scavenger hunts. We print her a list of objects she can find outside, like flowers, birds, and bugs, and she heads outside on her mission. She loves to bring along a pencil and check off each item as she finds it. It’s a great way to keep her entertained and busy on our daily walks.

If you really want to make an adventure of it, start the day with a craft and let the kids make homemade binoculars, you know the ones, made from a paper towel roll? They will have so much fun dressing the part. If the weather is warm enough, maybe even pack a pick picnic lunch to enjoy. There are so many fun ways to take this little adventure to the next level.

While we’re out and about, we also take the opportunity to discuss and learn about the world around us. It’s a great time to help the girls learn about the life cycle of a plant, where rain comes from or different animal habitats. They love taking it all in and always pass along what they’ve learned when they are chatting with their friends, aunties or grandparents later in the day.

So, if you’re looking for a fun activity to do today, print our Nature Scavenger Hunt and head out on an adventure! And while it’s great to get outside, sometimes it’s just not possible, so make sure you check out our list of Ideas for Keeping Kids Entertained at Home.

Am I the only one that feels like our home is neve Am I the only one that feels like our home is never really finished, even after a big renovation? 🙋🏻‍♀️We shared our finished renovation a few months ago but we knew there would still be additions to make in the weeks and months ahead. I've added a few new pieces of decor and we installed a custom roman shade, but the biggest change we made was replacing our kitchen appliances. It's a big investment, but one that is worth it.We partnered with our friends at @frigidairecanada to update our existing appliances and today we are sharing all about it, from why we chose @frigidairecanada appliances again to the favourite features we're swooning over.
