As I began thinking of the fall printable I wanted to create for you this year my thoughts turned to our little garden and the sweet, round pumpkins we grew. Gardening has been such a rewarding experience and we have had the best time harvesting our own vegetables throughout the summer and into the early fall.

We have been slow to let go of summer this year. Maybe it is because we have experienced the sweet and lazy days of summer as a child again, through the eyes of our little one. At one and a half, she is fully understanding the pure joy of feeling the warm summer sun on her skin, splashing in the waves at the beach and evenings spent picking fresh veggies from her garden as the sun goes down.

I have struggled with creating a cozy and functional space for our family in our open concept living room and dining room from the day we moved into our house. It is a space and a project I just haven’t been able to get right, until recently.
I am just like anybody else, I wish I could snap my fingers and have the house of my dreams appear in front of me. A home that feels cohesive and inviting, layered with textures and decorated with well thought-out and meaningful pieces. A home that tells a story and that is filled with beautiful memories.
