A Burst of Beautiful - DIY Vintage-Inspired Toolbox

Vintage-Inspired Toolbox DIY Tutorial

Good morning friends!

Today I want to share a sweet little DIY project my husband made for me.

This summer I found a charming wooden toolbox at a local market, complete with the patina of a well-worn piece. I scooped it up knowing I would have so many uses for it, I actually wrote a post about it here. I’ve used it as a herb planter, a garden caddy and it’s the perfect vessel to hold all of your entertaining needs for impromptu company.

I’ve used it so much and moved it from room to room in our home, it got my husband thinking. He knew he could easily build me a few extra vintage-inspired toolboxes so I wouldn’t have to keep swapping out the one we have. I love this project because it’s so versatile. You can change the size of the toolbox to suite your needs, depending on what you are using it for and where you are displaying it. And you can have so much fun with the way it looks – you can give it a white-wash, stain it or paint it a bright bold color. There are so many possibilities.

Simple French Bread

I may have named this recipe Simple French Bread, and although the process of making it is simple, the taste is anything but that. The aroma of fresh bread baking in your house is one of those scents that everyone loves. It induces feelings of comfort as well as hunger for the impending dinner.

Unfortunately, conventional bread recipes take a little more work and time to bake the perfect loaf. This recipe is so simple that you only need one hour and as little as five ingredients, ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry.

After you make this recipe, you may never buy bread from the bakery again. You’ve just given yourself license to be the baker! So if you forgot to pick up bread to go with your Sunday night dinner and think that it’s too late to make a homemade loaf, think again. You will impress your family or dinner guests with this.
